Note on quantities. Coverage figures are theoretical and assume a flat, correctly prepared substrate. Falls, cove detailing and surface profile after preparation all increase consumption. Confirm quantities against the current Technical Finishes datasheet before ordering.
Before you specify it
- The slab must be mechanically prepared and structurally sound before a screed of this type is laid.
- Moisture testing is required — polyurethane screeds tolerate more substrate moisture than epoxy, but the limit must still be confirmed.
- Coving, falls and drainage detailing must be designed in, not added afterwards.
- Thermal shock exposure (steam cleaning, hot wash-down) should be stated up front, as it determines the thickness specified.
- The full system must follow the current Technical Finishes specification.
