Note on quantities. Coverage per pack is not stated on the datasheet held on file and depends on substrate texture and the number of coats. Confirm the current coverage rate with us, or against the current Cemcrete datasheet, before ordering.
Before you specify it
- All surface beds must have a damp proof membrane, and all parapet and boundary walls must be waterproofed on top.
- Substrate moisture must be below 5% before application.
- Floor substrate compressive strength should be a minimum of 25 MPa.
- The substrate must be integrally sound — no cracking, crumbling or friability.
- Highs and lows must be corrected to within 3 mm of the datum line before application, since CreteCote goes on at 0.8 mm per coat and will not level a substrate.
- Existing interior floors should preferably be ground to remove surface residue and expose the true condition of the floor.
- Cemcrete does not accept liability for debonding caused by deficiencies in the substrate or in its preparation.
