Note on quantities. The 25 – 30 m² per bag figure assumes a smooth, correctly prepared substrate over two coats. Rough or porous plaster consumes more, and a third coat changes the figure again. Confirm against the current Cemcrete datasheet before ordering.
Before you specify it
- All surface beds must have a damp proof membrane.
- Substrate moisture must be below 5% before application.
- The substrate must be integrally sound — no cracking, crumbling or friability — and smooth and level.
- New plaster must be sponge, wood or steel floated. Previously painted walls must be sound and well adhered.
- Protection barriers against wind and sun are required during application.
- Cemcrete does not accept liability for failure caused by deficiencies in the substrate or in its preparation.
